How We Came To Be

In June of 2024, our Founder had finally laid the foundation for our nonprofit to blossom. After months of contemplation, she and her team were able to make this vision a reality! We have received our 501(c)(3) status and are officially in operation. We are fulfilling our founder's vision of spreading creativity amongst children in our community!

Our origin story!

"When I was younger, my parents had spilt custody of me. My mother did a fantastic job of raising me, along with my stepfather. They always made sure I had everything I needed and that I felt safe. However, my father's house never felt that way. I faced many obstacles including poverty and abuse at my father's house. We struggled to afford bills and groceries, so my passion was never a priority. When my mother had custody of me, she always ensured I had books, toys, and most importantly, art supplies. My outlet for the trauma I experienced from my father's house was art.

Halfway through my sophomore year of high school, I thought about starting this nonprofit to help children who were just like me a couple of years ago, kids who wanted to create art but couldn't afford the supplies. I put the thought aside, lacking the knowledge, time, and confidence to start a nonprofit. At the end of that school year, I attended the Central PA HOBY conference which gave me the confidence to start this nonprofit and make an impact where I knew there was a need. This dream could have never become a reality without my amazing family, board members, and especially those that I met at this conference."
